Precision Kiosk Technologies Expands AB Kiosk Distribution Into Louisiana

Minneapolis, Minn. — (July 8, 2020) Minneapolis-based Precision Kiosk Technologies, the industry leader in autonomous alcohol screening and probation monitoring systems, announced today that it has named Innovative Monitoring Network as an Authorized Distributor for AB Kiosk® system in Louisiana. Headquartered in Shreveport, Innovative Monitoring Network is a leading provider of alcohol, drug, GPS, and probation monitoring systems to county courts, law enforcement agencies, and corrections organizations throughout the state of Louisiana.

The AB Kiosk is a secure, interactive system that autonomously handles alcohol screening, pretrial services, and probation monitoring from start to finish. This system reduces administrative costs, increases community safety, and frees up, probation officers, and law enforcement and corrections personnel for higher-value work.

The AB Kiosk system consists of two integrated components: an interactive alcohol-screening kiosk and a robust client-management software program.

The Kiosk uses biometric fingerprint authentication to verify the identity of the individual, captures video as it administers breathalyzer tests and probation check-ins, and automatically uploads the results to the client’s file. Operating without any direct supervision, the Kiosk can test up to 30 individuals per hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Since January 2018, deployed AB Kiosk systems in five states have autonomously conducted more than 125,000 alcohol screenings and probation check-ins.

The system’s cloud-based client-management software simplifies new-client onboarding, coordinates regular and random scheduling, and handles all client notifications and accounting.
